It strengthens the postauthorisation monitoring of medicinal products in Europe by facilitating the conduct of multi-centre independent post- authorisation safety studies and studies focusing on lack of efficacy.

The Centre’s work in Pharmacoepidemiology is  led by Adjunct Professor Victor Kiri (side) of FVJK consultants (see People page). Professor Kiri worked in GSK and Parexel International before becoming a consultant.
