The Cooperative Education & Careers Division is responsible for the management and development of the Cooperative Education and Careers programmes.
Some 2,000 students are placed annually under the Cooperative Education programme with a network of over 1,600 employers. For many employers, their involvement in the programme represents the first point of contact with the University and over 700 employers visit the campus every year. UL has one of the largest cooperative education programmes in the European Union. Some 30% of placements are secured internationally; primarily in Europe, North America and Asia.
The Careers Service supports students and recent graduates in developing and implementing successful career plans and facilitates the recruitment process for students and employers. The core activities include individual and group career guidance, career information, career planning workshops as well as employer liaison.
