In your day to day dealings with students, please encourage them to think about their career plans and use the Careers Services that
are provided. In the first instance, refer them to the Careers website which provides full details of all services and events. If you
think that students need individual career advice, there are a number of options:
- Refer them to the CV Review / Quick Query service in E0019 which operates every day between 1.00 and 2.00 p.m. These are 10 minute meetings
with a careers advisor on any aspect of career choice. No appointment is necessary.
- For a more detailed consultation, suggest that they make an appointment with a careers advisor (or CoOp Manager) by emailing the
appropriate advisor on the Advisor Contact List.
- If a student has an individual requirement relating to access and disability provision.
- If students request information on any aspects of career choice, employers or postgraduate study, refer them to the Careers
Resource Area in E0019 where they can access reference material or collect booklets on all aspects of careers and postgraduate study.
