The Final Employer Evaluation form can be completed online. A link will be sent to the supervisor towards the end of the placement. This enables the supervisor to assess the student's performance over the entire duration of the placement.
The Cooperative Education Award recognises exceptional student performance on Cooperative Education placement. Each college makes one award every year and the award is presented to the successful students on graduation day - view the CoOp Award Winners.
Nominations for the award are accepted from both employers and academics involved in any stage of the assessment viz. CoOp visits, discussions with the employer, grading of CoOp reports. If you identify a student whose performance merits consideration for the award, you can indicate so when completing the Final Employer Evaluation form, you will be prompted to submit a supporting statement regarding same.
The final selection for the awards is made by the Cooperative Education Sub-Committee to Academic Council, which is made up of representatives of college faculty and the Cooperative Education & Careers Division.
