The Cooperative Education & Careers team at the University of Limerick is responsible for the CoOp programme. Every year, we work with about 1,600 employers, both in Ireland and internationally, to secure placements for 2000 undergraduates. CoOp is an essential part of the overall academic programme.
Cooperative Education gives you the chance to experience a real work environment before you graduate. For many students, the opportunity to do CoOp is an incentive to choose to come to UL over other universities. Your CoOp should help you to make decisions about your future career. It will also allow an employer to see you at work and assess you as a potential employee.
