There is no set level of pay for CoOp students but international placements are often less well paid than Irish placements. Under the EU Leonardo da Vinci programme, the University can sometimes offer additional funding to students in business, engineering and scientific placements within the EU. Costs of transport, accommodation, food and living expenses vary, depending on the country and city you are in. For any international placement, you will certainly need to bring enough money to cover your accommodation deposit and living expenses for the first six weeks of your placement.
