Visit the Campus

The University of Limerick campus is located three miles from Limerick city off the Dublin road. Our campus is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Ireland. The spacious grounds comprise 340 acres of parkland, with the river Shannon flowing through it all. On the north side of the river, our campus is actually in county Clare, while on the south side, it is in county Limerick.

The Shannon adds an extra dimension to the green and tree-lined campus and there are lovely riverside walks. Most of our student accommodation is within view of the river and our student rowing and kayak clubs make regular use of the river. Two bridges cross the river on the campus, offering a walking circuit of the grounds.
