<p>The <strong>MSc in Financial Services </strong> is a one-year full-time programme of study designed to equip students with the careful balance of academic knowledge and technical skills that are required for more high value-added positions available in the financial services industry in Ireland and abroad. </p>

<p>Although primarily intended for business graduates, including recent graduates working in the financial services industry, the MSc will also appeal to graduates from quantitatively-oriented disciplines, such as engineering and the mathematical sciences, who have prior relevant training and/or academic knowledge in the field of financial services. The unique combination of subjects offered in the MSc facilitates subsequent professional accreditation within the international financial services industry. </p>
<p>We have pioneered the practical use of trading simulation within the University sector.
This allows our students to actively manage a portfolio of stocks, bonds, futures and derivative instruments. This experience has given our students a significent advantage in understanding the dynamics of the marketplace. </p>
