The Kate O’Brien Weekend will take place in Limerick from 24th – 26th February 2012. The theme for the 2012 weekend is ‘Tell it slant’ a quote from an Emily Dickinson poem about telling the truth;
Tell all the truth but tell it slant,
Success in circuit lies,
Too bright for our infirm delight
The truth’s superb surprise;
As lightning to the children eased
With explanation kind,
The truth must dazzle gradually
Or every man be blind.
