Established in 2008, ULearning - Continuous Professional University, is a blended learning development unit within the University of Limerick, Ireland. ULearning is striving to incorporate professional qualifications into academic awards to help fuel the knowledge revolution that is driving the worlds economy.

Prof. Eamonn Murphy, Research Director
Professor Eamonn Murphy is Boart Longyear Professor of Quality and Applied Statistics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Limerick. He holds a Ph.D from University College, Dublin and an MSc (1st Hons) from the University of Limerick. He is Director of the Enterprise Research Centre which is committed to conducting leading edge research on the challenges facing current and next generation enterprises including the integration of continuous professional development with postgraduate qualifications. |

Mr. Michael Hennessy, Education Programmes Manager Michael is responsible for Collaboration with Industry to design, accredit and deliver education programmes that address the 21st Century skills needs of the of the Irish Economy.
His career has focused on the development of training and education for those in employment. Expanding the range and flexibility of accredited course from third level institutions that address the 21st century skills and competency needs of industry. |

Ms Liz Devereux, Executive Administrator Liz graduated from NUI Galway in 1987 with an honours degree in Psychology and went on to complete the Diploma in Personnel Management at the University of Limerick in 1992. In 2006 she graduated from UL with an MBS which explored the experiences of mature students returning to education. Prior to joining the NCQM/ERC in 1995, she worked for five years with Plassey Management and Technology Centre at the University of Limerick in their Department of Continuing Education (evening programmes). |
