2005 Irish Automation Seminar
Wednesday September 7th 2005
Enterprise Ireland-Glasnevin,Dublin 9
Automation Research
Centre (Ireland's PROFIBUS Competency Centre -PCC) in Co-Operation with
Enterprise Ireland will be hosting a one-day seminar on automation
technologies. The seminar theme is “ Holistic approach to automation “ and
it aims to have a total automation approach covering both manufacturing and back
office automation.
Introduction
Global markets and the
Eastern enlargement of the EU have increased the pressure on SMEs to become even
more competitive. The enormous wage differential cannot be compensated without
added value to the product at source. Automation and innovation play a major
role in this respect.
This seminar will bring
together a host of speakers from a
range of automation vendors, end users of automation systems, and systems
integrators as well as academics. The aim of the seminar is to cover topics of
interest in total automation of manufacturing.
