Where did the name come from? Yeats. Also, 'silver apple' is mentioned in the Nursery Rhyme: I had a little nut tree Nothing would it bear But a silver apple And a golden pear And, what is each child, if not "as precious as a piece of silver" and "the apple of a parent's eye". Activities For the week of the ICSE conference, after-school children will have games in the sports hall Monday and Wednesday 4-5pm, and swimming in the University of Limerick Swimming Pool.
