The Spring Challenge will take place on Saturday the 28th of April 2012.

ULSSC, the University of Limerick Staff Sailing Club, was founded in 1993.Its sailing activities take place on the western shore of Lough Derg at the UL Activity Centre, Killaloe, Co. Clare. If you would like to join the club please visit the members page or contact the club P.R.O. The Club's sailing season is from March to October with specially organised events for beginners planned from March to May. The Club provides an inexpensive relaxed safe environment for beginners to start sailing and all training courses organised by the club are ISA certified.
In addition to weekly dinghy sailing the Club organises weekend coastal trips offshore over the summer.
UL Staff Sailing Club members mainly consist of staff and research postgraduates drawn from all corners of the University, their partners and alumni. There is also a limited number of Associate Memberships for non-UL members available. The Club has a weekly sailing program every Tuesday evening throughout the summer months from April to October along with several weekend cruises. New comers are always welcome! Each year depending on interest we organise a weekend trip up the lake and or a weekend coastal sailing trip. This gives members more of a chance to experience another, very different, aspect of the sport. more >>
Training courses are available for all levels from Beginners onward, with no previous experience necessary! Over four weeks, members team up with our instructors for a thorough introduction to basic sailing skills.

University of Limerick Sailing Club was established in 1993 to promote sailing among students and staff of the University. Based at the UL Activity Centre, 3 miles from Killaloe we are the only sailing club in the University to remain active throughout the Summer months. more>>
