About the Volunteers
Many of the volunteers are also sailors themselves, some of them were even past winners of this event and could have decided to enter this event. So thanks again are due to them for offering to volunteer to help run the event this year. We hope to see them competing in this event next year.
Each rescue boat driver at some time previous, took the time to do the training to qualify themselves to drive a rescue boat so that they could provide this service.
To ensure the smooth running of this event we had two rescue boats on duty each day, each rescue boat had an assistant onboard. .
Along with rescue, a committed boat was arranged along with some volunteers to assist with managing the start line of each race.
Sincerely
ULSSC Committee 2010 & also from all who competed.
