Timeline for Spring Challenge 2010

 

Wind forecast from wind guru for Lough Derg,

 

Directions to the the UL Activity Centre (ULAC) the location of the Spring Challenge 2010.

 

ULAC will open at 9am on Saturday the 24th

 

On Arrival bring your boats into ULAC and then bring your car to the main car park area 50 metres from ULAC along the main road.

 

Registrations times are 9.00 to 10.15am
In the first Marquee on the left hand side after passing the dressing rooms. Completed entree forms + Lunch orders taken also.

 

Good time to rig and prepare your dingies

 

First Briefing is at 10.30am in the Marquee.

 

First Gun on Saturday is at 12 noon, ( the poster was in error).

 

The lunch break will take place on the water, lunch bags can be collected from the committee boat. If needed the couse will be adjusted in this time period.

 

Times for the second and third races will be communicated from the committee boat .

 

On your return to shore, dingies need to be stored on their trailors within ULAC..

 

Soups Hot coffee ... back in the Main Marquee

 

Social meeting point for Spring Challenge Sailors 2010 in Killaloe is Crotties Pub, ( zoom in on goggle map for exact location.)
