The UL Gospels Singers will recommence rehearsals on this Thursday 20 September 2007( 5.00 - 6.30 pm) in room CO 078/CO 079, Music Rooms, Block C of the main building.

Over the past two/three years the choir has focussed on a Gospel repertoire and performs at least two fund-raising concerts a year. We meet every Thurs at 5.00 pm - 6.30pm. New members are warmly invited to join....especially male voices! No previous experience necessary.  f you like to sing, please join us for music and enjoyment every Thurs evening.

During the last year, the choir performed in a number of very successful concerts. The Christmas lunch time concert in the University was in aid of Hope and Homes for Children, Romania. (A former member of the choir is Country Director for Hope and Homes for Children in Romania, consequently, the choir has adopted Hope and Homes for Children, Romania as its special project). Students of the Irish World Music Centre also participated in the concert. The choir also performed a lunch time concert on 1 May again in the Performing Arts Centre in the University. Students of the Irish World Music Centre also contributed to this concert which was in aid of Hope and Homes for Children, Romania.

If you enjoy singing you are most welcome to join us. Just come along to the first rehearsal in Week 2. Notices will be posted with the rehearsal details.
